Job Summary
Janitorial Zone Manager responsible for managing customer and vendor relationships within assigned accounts in a fast-paced facility-services environment. Responsible for visits to accounts, audits, ensuring buildings are stocked and serviced promptly, creating and maintaining delivery and staffing plans, sourcing and scheduling vendors, submitting project dates to head office, and providing backup crew support in emergencies. The role requires budget awareness, ability to analyze P&L, project management skills, and strong client relationships. Bilingual skills are a plus, and a background check and drug test are required. This is a full-time position with benefits and a focus on safety and compliant operations.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of management experience in janitorial or building maintenance/service industry
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of OSHA and state/federal compliance (KBS)
- Experience in maintaining or supporting staffing levels in support of defined budgets, crews, and customer relations
- Ability to analyze area profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure expenses are within budget
- Understanding of project management and related planning; ability to communicate changes and progress
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with each client and ensure service levels per contract
- Ability to manage staff employment cycle: hiring, training, managing performance including disciplinary actions and terminations
