Job Summary
Maintain courts, offices, and equipment while monitoring for and cleaning spills throughout the facility. Clean all floor surfaces, glass, bathrooms, guest seating, and lobby areas, then remove trash and recyclables. Provide courteous service to guests by answering questions, directing them, and resolving concerns with management assistance. Assist other departments as needed and complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties directed by the Facility Maintenance Manager. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays while adhering to the Guest First Policy.
Required Qualifications
- Can work well with a wide variety of age groups
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
- Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members
- Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
- Commitment to the safety and well-being of others
- Have sports experience or an interest to learn
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
- Will be required to operate a computer
- Must be able to walk intermittently
- Must be able to successfully complete our Utility Vehicle training program
