Job Summary
Janitorial Supervisor responsible for leading a cleaning team at Trussville Middle School. Manages task assignment, monitors routine cleaning of lobbies, restrooms, and common areas, ensures supply levels, trains new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of chemicals; maintains safety and health compliance, and communicates irregularities or damages. Evening, part-time role from 5pm–9pm; requires leadership, customer-service orientation, and ability to supervise a team of cleaners.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience
- Supervisory experience of at least 3 years managing a team of 5+
- At least 2 years of experience in a janitorial role with knowledge of cleaning methods, safety regulations, and the use of cleaning chemicals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to stand and move up to 25 lbs
