Job Summary
Oversee cleaning staff to ensure lobby, waiting areas, hallways, and restrooms are clean and well-maintained; manage task assignments; train new employees on cleaning procedures and safety; monitor inventory; enforce safety and health regulations; liaise with clinic staff, patients, visitors; respond to spills and immediate cleaning requests; maintain a professional and courteous demeanor; follow security protocols dictated by the contract; monitor performance and provide guidance; ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available to the team.
Required Qualifications
- Must have proven leadership experience
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a janitorial role with a thorough understanding of cleaning methods, safety regulations, and the proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Must have supervisory experience of at least 3 years of a team of 5 employees or greater
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to stand, sit, move up to 25 lbs without restrictions
- Experience with safety protocols and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
