Job Summary
Assign tasks to workers, inspect completed work for conformance to standards, and directly supervise the performance outcomes of 2 to 50 janitorial service employees. Issues supplies and equipment, assist in training employees, and plan, assign, and direct work while resolving workers' problems or referring matters to the Manager. Address customer complaints, provide feedback for managers to appraise employee performance, and perform related duties as a Working Supervisor. Collaborate with employees to maintain commercial, industrial, and medical premises. Full-time role with weekly pay at $19 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable work history
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in the janitorial industry
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
- Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
