Job Summary
Janitorial Rover for TVW, Inc. in the Portland Metro Area responsible for day-to-day commercial cleaning and floor care coverage. Operates cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning equipment, provides coverage for workers who are out, and ensures contractual requirements are met. Works independently under minimal supervision and collaborates with managers, supervisors, and lead workers to maintain quality across multiple sites. Must meet background and drug-screening requirements, have a valid driver’s license, and possess the ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and train/lead a small crew. The role emphasizes reliable cleaning, safety, quality assurance, and support for teams while handling after-hours duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Must pass drug screenings
- Valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance
- Experience leading shift with 2-3 staff preferred
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in general janitorial services
- Experience working with persons of all abilities
- Ability to pass required safety and quality procedures
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Able to operate janitorial equipment and drive to multiple sites
- Comfort with after-hours emergencies and overtime as needed
- Knowledge of SDS and chemical labeling
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and train others
