Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and organization of all interior areas, including fitness spaces, locker rooms, and common areas, while ensuring the immediate exterior remains safe and presentable. Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks according to established daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, adhering to all protocols and safety standards. Monitor the facility for hazards, damaged equipment, and building concerns, reporting findings promptly to Club Leadership. Assist members and guests with requests, maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude while demonstrating reliability and the ability to work independently. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management, including operating cleaning equipment and safely using chemicals in accordance with guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and reach frequently throughout scheduled shifts
- Ability to push, pull, and operate cleaning and maintenance equipment as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and work in a physically active environment
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with company guidelines
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must maintain work eligibility throughout employment
- Must possess proof of employment authorization
- Must complete all required employment verification documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, or facility operations experience
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Reliable, dependable, and capable of maintaining a consistent work schedule
- Any certifications required by applicable state or local regulations
