Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and organization of all interior club areas, including fitness spaces, locker rooms, studios, and common areas. Ensure the immediate exterior, including entrances and walkways, remains safe and presentable. Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules while following established protocols. Assist members and guests with requests, escalating concerns to management as appropriate. Monitor the facility for safety hazards, maintenance issues, and equipment damage, reporting findings promptly to Club Leadership. Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and storage areas in an organized manner. Support club operations and special projects as assigned. Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and reach frequently throughout scheduled shifts
- Ability to push, pull, and operate cleaning and maintenance equipment as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and work in a physically active environment
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with company guidelines
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must maintain work eligibility throughout employment
- Must possess proof of employment authorization
- Must complete all required employment verification documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, or facility operations experience
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Reliable, dependable, and capable of maintaining a consistent work schedule
- Any certifications required by applicable state or local regulations
