Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and organization of all interior areas including fitness spaces, locker rooms, studios, and common areas. Ensure the immediate exterior of the facility, including entrances, walkways, and surrounding grounds, remains clean and safe. Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules while following established protocols. Assist members and guests with requests, escalating concerns to management when appropriate. Monitor the facility for safety hazards, maintenance issues, and damaged equipment, reporting findings promptly to Club Leadership. Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and storage areas in a safe, organized manner. Support club operations and special projects as assigned by management. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude while interacting with members, guests, and fellow team members. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and reach frequently throughout scheduled shifts
- Ability to push, pull, and operate cleaning and maintenance equipment as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and work in a physically active environment
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with company guidelines
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must maintain work eligibility throughout employment
- Must possess proof of employment authorization
- Must complete all required employment verification documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, or facility operations experience
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Reliable, dependable, and capable of maintaining a consistent work schedule
