Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and organization of interior areas (fitness spaces, locker rooms, restrooms, studios, and common areas) and ensure the exterior remains clean and safe. Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks per schedules, follow protocols, assist members and guests, monitor for safety hazards, report maintenance concerns to Club Leadership, manage cleaning supplies/equipment, support special projects, and adhere to company policies. Requires reliability, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering a positive member experience. Physical ability to perform duties and comply with safety guidelines is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, or facility operations experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Reliable, dependable, and capable of maintaining a consistent work schedule
- Any certifications required by applicable state or local regulations
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and reach frequently during shifts
- Ability to push, pull, and operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
