Janitor position responsible for maintaining a clean facility by performing tasks such as mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant, and emptying trash/recycling. Duties include cleaning designated building areas, performing routine inspections and maintenance, carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects, notifying management of deficiencies, making minor repairs, stocking and maintaining supply rooms, and complying with health and safety regulations. Requires proven janitorial experience, ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets, integrity and ability to work independently, good communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively with others.
