Job Summary
Conduct daily janitorial services across entry lobbies, offices, labs, exam rooms, kitchens, and restrooms at assigned NEW Health facilities. Spot clean surfaces, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and sanitize sinks, counters, exam tables, and restrooms. Gather trash, wash dishes, water plants, and clean windows and glass partitions as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned, including edge vacuuming and dusting high ledges. Duties require standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working evenings and weekends when facilities are closed. Travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must know how to use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Knowledge of chemicals and solutions
- Must be available for working evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Previous janitorial experience
- Infection control training
