Job Summary
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary facilities across the Blue Moon Metals project site by performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and light facility support. Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, lunchrooms, meeting rooms, and common areas; sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors, furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces. Empty trash and recycling containers, restock restroom and breakroom supplies, and clean windows, doors, and interior glass surfaces. Maintain organized entrances, walkways, and common areas while assisting with meeting room setup and cleanup for training sessions and company events. Notify supervisors of maintenance needs, safety concerns, or damaged equipment and report unsafe conditions, spills, or hazards promptly. Safely use cleaning products, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE), maintaining proper storage and handling of supplies. Follow all safety policies and procedures to promote a clean workplace supporting safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions when supporting site facilities.
- Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facility cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience in industrial, mining, construction, or commercial environments is an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional work environment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers or carpet cleaners.
- First Aid/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
