Job Summary
Day Cleaner responsibilities include cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping) and cleaning restrooms; clean toilets with toilet brush and chemicals; wipe down counters and mirrors; replenish restroom supplies; remove trash and debris; re-line trash receptacles; wipe and disinfect all surfaces including glass; carry out special cleaning projects. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, work in hot/cold/damp environments, have reliable transportation, demonstrate strong time management and punctuality, and be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include janitor/cleaning experience and bilingual ability (Spanish/English). The role is full-time with multiple shifts and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401K after one year.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively
- Must have a good personality, excellent cleaning skills, and be committed to providing results; TEAM PLAYER
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
- Must be able to climb up and down a ladder
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments
- Reliable Transportation
- Strong time management skills and proven history of workplace punctuality
- Attention to detail and meticulous use of proper safety procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-directed and motivated
- Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
