Job Summary
Conduct general custodial duties including groundskeeping, litter removal, and trash disposal into compactors or dumpsters. Perform cleaning functions specific to assigned facilities based on seasonal or project requirements while operating vacuums and other related equipment. Safely use cleaning supplies and follow safety procedures in a physically demanding environment requiring heavy lifting. This full-time or part-time role in West Palm Beach, FL offers hourly pay between $14.00 and $16.00, with benefits including medical insurance, paid vacation, and paid sick days.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check/Drug screen
- Janitorial experience of minimum (1) year
- Must be Fluent in English for daytime positions
- Considerable physical activity; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds
- Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
- Ability to understand verbal instructions
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Ability to operate vacuums and other related equipment
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
