Job Summary
Empty trash containers and transport them to dumpster areas. Dust, spot clean, vacuum, mop floors, clean windows, polish surfaces, and sanitize surfaces like telephones and drinking fountains. Clean and stock restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors, while adhering to all health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices. Perform other duties as assigned. This rest area attendant position requires standing or walking for the entire shift and the ability to lift objects weighing 15 to 25 pounds, occasionally pushing carts up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
- Disposition to perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to stand/walk for entire length of your shift
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled carts loaded with products up to 50 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
