Job Summary
Wipe down chairs and tables in the fellowship hall, sweep and mop floors in the fellowship hall and classrooms, and dust mop the gym floor daily. Clean bathrooms in the Fellowship Hall, restock supplies, remove trash, and transport it to the dumpster. Assist the maintenance technician with setting up rooms for day camp by arranging tables, chairs, and special activity areas. Handle yard maintenance tasks including cleaning up debris, picking up trash across the entire property, and weeding front landscaping. This seasonal role requires 20 hours per week from Monday through Friday, with shifts available between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Candidates must be high school graduates and complete required child abuse clearances and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or High School Equivalency diploma
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
- Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army
