Job Summary
Oversee the delivery, quality, and performance of custodial and cleaning services across client facilities; provide daily leadership to the janitorial team, ensuring service standards are met and acting as primary point of contact for the customer. Drive operational excellence, manage staffing, budgeting, and reporting, and support safe, efficient, and customer-focused environments. Lead training on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, safety practices, and customer service; supervise staff, plan shifts, process timecards, and handle administrative reporting. Maintain strong client relationships, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; participate in monthly close activities and financial reporting as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience in janitorial management or commercial cleaning leadership
- Direct experience managing teams of 20 or more employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- comfort with basic computer systems
- Strong ability to follow and convey oral and written instructions
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, staff, and management
- Knowledge of labor and material estimating, task planning, and workflow organization
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and shop drawings
- Knowledge and application of safe cleaning practices, chemical use, and equipment operation
- Valid driver’s license
