Janitor

Janitor needed to maintain a clean, safe, and functional facility environment through routine custodial duties and basic building maintenance. Responsibilities include weekly cleaning and sanitation of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, floors, parking lots, and common areas; cleaning and maintaining various flooring surfaces (VCT, LVT, polished concrete, ceramic, porcelain, carpet, terrazzo); applying floor finishes; operating custodial equipment; restocking supplies; and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures. Works to support daily operations for client stores/locations within ~15 miles of Franklin Park, IL. Requires attention to detail, reliability, time management, problem solving, safety awareness, and teamwork; effective communication with supervisors and facility occupants; and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
