Janitor - VA 209

Picks up trash and litter around grounds and buildings, gathers and empties trash including moving dumpsters for city pickup, and keeps recycling areas, trash rooms, and dumpster areas neat and litter-free. Maintains maintenance shop and storage areas clean and organized, keeps utility and meter rooms free of debris, and cleans common area floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Steam-cleans or shampoos carpets and services, cleans, and supplies common area restrooms using products per manufacturer instructions. Performs initial clean up and final detailed cleaning of apartment unit turnovers, including refrigerators, range/ovens, exhaust fans, counters, sinks, tubs, showers, walls, floors, doors, and windows. Performs miscellaneous janitorial maintenance tasks as directed by Property Manager. Requires minimum three years of multi-family apartment janitorial experience and ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
