Job Summary
Conduct detailed cleaning of plant areas including lunchrooms, showers, locker rooms, workstations, walkways, and grounds with efficiency and accuracy. Operate cleaning equipment such as Nilfisk vacuums and hydro-retrievers, performing preventive maintenance under supervision. Execute light maintenance duties like painting walls, carpentry, and replacing lights while collecting coveralls and towels. Manage inspections and environmental document record keeping, and operate the cardboard compactor machine. Adhere to hazardous material specifications and wear all required PPE safely. Available for various shifts and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or greater
- Ability to work in a lead acid battery manufacturing plant
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Available for various shifts, and overtime
