Job Summary
Maintain building cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, shampooing carpets, and emptying trash receptacles. Perform routine inspections, document maintenance activities, and execute heavy cleansing tasks or special projects as assigned. Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs and make minor adjustments. Stock supply rooms and adhere to safety and sanitation standards while operating power equipment. Work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
- Ability to read and interpret written information
- Ability to write clear statements
- Ability to communicate orally
- Must be able to do physical work
- Must be able to operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
