Job Summary
Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops, and restocks hallways, stairways, offices, kitchens, laundry rooms, clinics, and common areas. Dusts high and low surfaces, wipes down various areas, and uses appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions for all tasks. Removes and disposes of discarded materials, compacts trash, and transports it to disposal areas. May change light bulbs, perform light facility maintenance, keep entryways clear of snow and debris, and operate a vehicle to work at various locations. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license with acceptable record, fluency in English, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Performs duties indoors and outdoors in Fairbanks, AK, with part-time hours starting at $17/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some combination or education or experience that evidences a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes
- Valid Driver's License
- Acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift
