Job Summary
Dust shelves and fixtures, clean windows, sweep and vacuum as needed, and assist in bottle room machine maintenance. Clean bathrooms daily by sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing sinks and toilets, while also maintaining cart cleanliness and returning items to shelves. Sweep sidewalks free of clutter and debris, performing ice and snow removal during colder temperatures. Utilize brooms, mop scrubbers, dusters, and chemicals to empty trash cans inside and outside, following all PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines. May be assigned additional tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs. This role requires a high school graduate or GED with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, and involves lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally while standing and walking for extended periods in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Good verbal communication skills: ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
- Good customer service and organizational skills
- detail oriented
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
