Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive building cleaning for garage parking, alleyways, walkways, and both interior and exterior spaces. Maintain restrooms, hallways, and common areas daily while correctly using sanitation chemicals. Coordinate maintenance requests through the T-Card system for tasks like room turnovers, locker cleaning, and bed bug protocols. Set up tables and chairs for site programs and monitor property outside the building for graffiti, trash, and debris. Wash and vacuum vehicles, ensure exits and stairwells are clear, and institute security procedures for critical incidents. Respond to emergency situations independently within policy guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of experience as a Janitor or Custodian
- Applicants must be available for in-person interviews in Seattle, WA
- Saturday-Wednesday, 11:00am-7:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Experience doing janitorial duties in a shelter or shelter-like environment (such as a hospital or assisted living facility)
- Experience in customer service
