Job Summary
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining building cleanliness and accessibility through custodial services, such as dusting, polishing, washing surfaces, and managing waste disposal. Responsibilities include keeping equipment operational, complying with health and safety procedures, and maintaining continuity between shifts. Required qualifications include a DoD Secret Security Clearance, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably at least one year of custodial experience. Knowledge of standard cleaning practices and ability to follow proper use of cleaning chemicals is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred
- At least one (1) year custodial experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
- Knowledge of the use of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
