Job Summary
Conduct routine and ad-hoc janitorial duties and perform planned maintenance in accordance with agreed timescales and procedures. Supervise, develop, and monitor cleaning staff to ensure standards meet contract conditions and quality management procedures. Maintain the safe and efficient operation of the school's energy systems and provide support to other sites as directed by the Lead Janitor or Facilities Manager. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety issues, COSHH regulations, and the requirement for a PVG/Disclosure Check. Work Monday to Friday from 06:00am to 15:00pm and 08:00am to 17:00pm on a weekly rota for 41.5 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working
- Awareness of COSHH regulations
- PVG/Disclosure Check prior to starting in the role
