Job Summary
Part-Time Janitor responsible for cleaning and sanitizing commercial and medical building spaces, performing routine cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting), disinfecting high-touch surfaces, disposing of trash including medical waste, refilling dispensers, monitoring inventory, assisting with meeting rooms and event spaces setup, coordinating with maintenance, and following all safety protocols to maintain sanitary facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sanitary environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work during both day and evening shifts as required.
