Job Summary
Janitor role responsible for providing janitorial services under the supervision of the On-site Supervisor. Ensures tasks meet quality standards with minimal customer complaints, utilizes various cleaning equipment and products, and performs essential duties including waste management, restroom cleaning, floor maintenance, and responding to service requests. Requires ability to follow instructions, good customer relationship skills, and physical capability to lift 50 pounds and perform cleaning duties effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3 months of general experience in progressively responsible housekeeping/sanitation or other work that applies particular knowledge and skills to perform the position.
- United States Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a background check for the Federal Agency to obtain security access badging.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of janitorial methods, practices, materials, tools, occupational hazards, and safety precautions of the janitorial work.
- Knowledge and experience with Alaska Native cultures.
