Job Summary
As a Janitor at UFC GYM, you will be the backbone of daily operations, maintaining a pristine, safe training environment. You will sweep, vacuum, mop floors, clean windows and doors, sanitize toilets/showers/kitchens, disinfect MMA areas (mats, octagon, heavy bags), and shampoo carpets as needed. You will inventory and restock locker rooms and restrooms, maintain cleaning equipment, complete daily checklists, and report maintenance concerns. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency and independence, punctuality, and a positive, team-first attitude. Must be 18+, have 6+ months janitorial/housekeeping experience, be proficient in English, understand cleaning chemicals, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds; overnight availability is required in the club’s cleaning schedule. Education of a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in professional janitorial or housekeeping services
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Knowledge of the proper use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals and materials
- Physical capability to stand, stretch, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts as required by the club's cleaning schedule
