Job Summary
Pick up trash and replace with liners, vacuum, mop, strip, wax, and sweep all floor areas. Dust, spot walls, clean glass, polish, and sanitize assigned zones. Wash, wipe, sponge, rinse, scour, and disinfect work areas. Note and report areas needing repair, hazardous conditions, customer property damage, suspicious activities, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures. Perform duties Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Maintain physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, and handle various tasks in environments ranging from quiet offices to loud manufacturing departments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands or arms
