Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and order in a designated area by following established cleaning procedures, sanitizing spaces, and performing light maintenance. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely while keeping the storage area organized. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors throughout the shift. This role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions. The Janitor position is a 2nd shift role at Ho-Chunk, Inc., offering a pay rate of $17.79/hr plus fringe benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a medical setting
