Job Summary
Janitor needed to maintain cleanliness in commercial and medical building settings. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting common areas, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, disposing of trash and medical waste, refilling dispensers, monitoring inventory, setting up/cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces, collaborating with maintenance teams, reporting repairs, and following safety protocols for cleaning chemicals. Requires infection-control awareness, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods. Shift is evenings (5 pm–1:30 am), with travel between three Redmond, WA sites; selected candidate will support a safe, sanitary environment across multiple facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Understanding of infection control practices and importance of sanitary environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work during day and evening shifts as required
- Background checks will be conducted in accordance with applicable law
