Job Summary
Janitor at UFC GYM responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across the facility. Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors; cleaning windows, doors, mirrors; disinfecting toilets, showers, changing areas, and food prep areas; sanitizing MMA training areas including mats, octagon, and heavy bags; inventory/restocking locker rooms and restrooms; operating daily checklists; and reporting maintenance concerns. Requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, punctuality, and a positive team attitude. Must meet age requirement, have related janitorial experience, English proficiency, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and physical ability to perform duties (including lifting up to 25 pounds) with flexibility for overnight shifts. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in professional janitorial or housekeeping services
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Knowledge of the proper use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals and materials
- Physical capability to stand for a full shift, lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts as required by the club's cleaning schedule
