Job Summary
Janitor position (FULL TIME) responsible for keeping buildings clean, organized, and disinfected. Core duties include cleaning interior spaces (floors, carpets, windows, walls), vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, removing trash, sanitizing desks and office equipment, restocking restrooms, cleaning windows and mirrors, and maintaining cleaning supply inventories. Must follow safety procedures, maintain cleaning records, and close doors at night. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and a dependable, punctual work ethic. Required Qualifications
- Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls, and general tasks.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture.
- Keep furniture free of dust.
- Clean lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings.
- Empty trash cans and ashtrays; clean trash and recycling containers to disposal area.
- Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
- Clean and maintain restrooms; replenish supplies.
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors.
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or need for maintenance.
- Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected.
- Follow safety and precaution rules.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Close doors at the end of the night shift.
