Job Summary
Empty and clean all waste containers, ash trays, and sand urns. Dust image frames, charts, and wall hangings; damp dust ceiling diffusers, partition grilles, and ventilating louvers. Vacuum mats and carpets in workplaces, lobbies, and corridors. Hand dust office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills, and flat surfaces. Wipe clean and buff metal hardware fixtures and bright work. Appropriately clean and police tile floors. Damp wipe and buff glass furnishings, entry door glass indoors and out, and remove stains from vertical surfaces. Wash, clean, and sterilize water coolers. Sweep private stairways and vacuum if carpeted. Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restocking supplies as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow written and oral directions
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a janitorial type position
