Job Summary
Provide students and staff with a safe, clean learning and working environment by performing custodial duties district-wide. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, emptying trash, cleaning windows and surfaces, basic maintenance such as changing light bulbs or minor plumbing fixes, following safety procedures, and responding to staff requests. Reports to the Custodial Service Manager or Superintendent Designee; 2nd shift (Monday–Friday). Requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong attention to detail; excellent teamwork and communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
