Job Summary
Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming assigned areas and multiple client sites. Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage, then clean restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas. Empty trash cans, clean windows and glass partitions, spot clean carpets, and replenish paper products and sanitary supplies. Occasionally operate heavy equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers, while strictly adhering to the housekeeping schedule and customer specifications. Perform other duties as assigned based on scope of work or needs. This role offers steady, reliable full-time or part-time work with weekly pay at $15 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
- Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
