Job Summary
Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming assigned areas inside buildings or multiple client sites. Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage, while cleaning restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas. Empty trash cans, clean windows and glass partitions, spot clean carpets, and replenish paper products and sanitary supplies. Occasionally use heavy equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers. Perform other duties as assigned per client specifications. Full-time morning shift Monday through Wednesday at $16.00 per hour with weekly pay. On-the-job training provided for candidates with a high school diploma or six months of janitorial experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
- Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
