Job Summary
Janitor / Custodian responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities across break rooms, common areas, restrooms, office spaces, stairwells, elevators, and coffee stations. Duties include performing scheduled cleaning per master plan, replenishing coffee stations, collecting trash/recycling, disinfecting high-touch areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with event setup/cleanup (training theater, food setup). Must have a high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of janitorial experience; ability to read/write English; capable of using hand tools and small power equipment; ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm in North Hollywood, CA with pay between $19.00–$22.00 per hour; offers health and retirement benefits, paid time off, parental leave, educational assistance, and other program benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6–12 months of prior janitorial experience; exposure to custodial practices, equipment, and standards in both factory and office environments preferred
- Capable of using hand tools and small power equipment
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
