Job Summary
Conduct daily interior cleaning of the building including emptying waste receptacles, vacuuming/shampooing floors, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and polishing surfaces. Perform exterior cleaning and basic maintenance of grounds, parking lots, and structures, and assist with minor repairs like painting, light bulb replacement, and simple plumbing. Notify management promptly of spills, broken equipment, safety issues, or facility repairs. Safely operate cleaning equipment, tools, and chemical agents while maintaining organized work areas.
Required Qualifications
- Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devices
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
- Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing
- Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, drawings, and schematics
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Some cleaning experience and basic mechanical knowledge is preferred
