Job Summary
Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance duties in an assigned commercial area, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, laundry, and disinfecting equipment, furniture, and fixtures. Vacuum, mop, and spot-clean carpets in office areas and the non-production employee lounge. Remove trash from designated zones, clean and sanitize restrooms daily, and wash windows in conference rooms and management offices. Stock supplies throughout the office and perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Shift runs Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM at a rate of $17.50 per hour. This role supports EBM, Inc. and Alliance Maintenance Services, a Women Owned Business providing high-quality facility services.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals, supplies and methods used in office cleaning
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- At least 1 year of previous janitorial experience
