Job Summary
Light duty Janitor/Cleaner for weekend shifts at Canadian Forces Base in Shilo. Responsibilities include maintaining floors (vacuuming, damp mopping), cleaning and sanitizing washrooms and common areas, replenishing supplies, dusting office cubicles, polishing chrome and other surfaces, and spot cleaning walls, partitions, light switches, and doors. Requires ability to lift up to 25 lbs; WHMIS certification and fingerprint security clearance are provided/training can be supplied; Class 5 drivers license is an asset. Works with a team or independently in a base facility environment.
Required Qualifications
- WHMIS certification
- Finger print security clearance
- Class 5 drivers license an asset
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Experience in floor care is an asset
- Ability to communicate with supervisor, client and general public
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
