Job Summary
Maintain a quality environment through proper cleaning processes that meet contract requirements. Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean tables, windows, and windowsills; empty trash, and sanitize restroom mirrors and door handles. Prepare cleaning solutions per manufacturer guidelines, shampoo carpets, and operate power washers, buffers, and scrubbers. Report maintenance concerns to administration. Work full shifts standing, lifting 25 pounds, and climbing stairs while adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required PPE. Assist with meeting set-ups and restock supplies. Weekly pay and insurance packages provided.
Required Qualifications
- Background Check
- Drug Testing
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds for the entire shift
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift
- Must be able to climb stairs for the entire shift
- Must be capable of bending, pushing, pulling, and squatting for the entire shift
- Must be capable of pushing a manual broom and mop
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have reliable transportation arrangements
- Must be comfortable working in a school setting
- Must be able to assist with meeting set-ups
- Must not sit during the work shift except for the 30-minute lunch break and the 15-minute work break
- Must be able to operate power washer, buffers, vacuums, shampoo carpet machines and scrubbers
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
- Must adhere to all safety protocols
- Must be comfortable working in a school environment
- Must be willing to assist others as needed
