Job Summary
Perform general janitorial and maintenance tasks in accordance with local building and fire codes. Ensure entrances, grounds, and parking lots remain clean, clear, and safe through property cleanup, grass cutting, seasonal snow removal, and floor care including vacuuming, auto scrubbing, waxing, and buffing. Maintain checklists and reports for change rooms, windows, washrooms, showers, and parking areas. Assist with minor maintenance and ice maintenance during peak periods or short staffing. Requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and callouts.
Required Qualifications
- Completed high school education or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Building Service Worker Certificate (BC)
- Previous experience as a commercial buildings janitor
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends and call outs)
- Approachable and team orientated with great communication skills (verbal and written)
