Job Summary
Perform a full range of custodial duties in an adolescent residential substance abuse treatment facility, including sanitizing restrooms, windows, and showers; sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors; dusting furniture and equipment; and emptying waste receptacles. Act as a role model for patients while monitoring building security and safety by reporting unusual activities, locking doors after hours, and checking electrical appliances. Identify and report building maintenance needs, regulate ventilation and temperature, and move furniture to set up rooms for conferences. Requires one year of custodial experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in an indoor office environment.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/ G.E.D
- Minimum of one year experience in a custodial role
- Must act as a role model for patients
- Must be alert to unusual activities
- Regularly required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
