Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in James Island ER provides patient-centered care coordination across the unit during shifts, guiding nursing staff, supporting admission/discharge processes, staffing and scheduling, quality assessment, training and development, and collaboration with management to improve patient outcomes. Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred), <1 year nursing experience, active RN license (or compact), BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 90 days, and a focus on throughput, service excellence, workforce engagement, and adherence to policies to support high-quality, efficient care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- < 1 year applicable experience
- Current RN license in state(s) of practice or active compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of start date
