Job Summary
ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN in Goose Creek, SC leads daily operations and nursing practice in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The role combines advanced clinical practice with frontline leadership, overseeing triage, patient flow, and prioritization of care, while providing direct patient care as needed. Acts as a resource and mentor for the team, supports adherence to evidence-based emergency nursing standards, and participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Works with physicians, nurses, technicians, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency care, and contributes to professional development within the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Emergency Department experience
- Leadership/shift-leader experience
- Ability to mentor and support staff
- Familiarity with evidence-based emergency nursing standards
- Compliance with regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred (if applicable)
