Job Summary
Sign-on bonus. Provides high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room, coordinating and delivering care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team. Utilizes nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage; advocates for patients/families; educates patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up; documents care in the medical record; responds promptly to patient needs and anticipates further requirements. Requires nursing licensure (RN) with at least an Associate Degree or RN Diploma; ADN/BSN credentials preferred; BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days of start date. Emphasizes safety, effective pain management, patient education, and adherence to standards of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Current licensed RN in state(s) of practice or active compact license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred (optional but noted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
