Job Summary
Administrative support for Municipal and County Courts and jail operations. Performs office and clerical duties, including timekeeping, data entry in law enforcement databases, and processing payments for citations, fines, and court costs. Handles driver’s license verifications, criminal history/background and warrant checks, scanning, filing, appointment management, and communications with the public. Serves as primary point of contact for the Jail on topics such as payments, release procedures, and notices. Supports jail control systems (radio, camera, door systems) and notary functions; trains new assistants and jail officers. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of clerical/administrative experience plus 1 year cashiering experience. Preferred knowledge of jail operations, court procedures, open records/privacy laws, and CJIS-related processes; college coursework is a plus. Required Qualifications
